Functional & Technical Upgrade Assistance

Our clients often fail to plan resources and hardware appropriately which results in their taking short cuts or reducing testing in order to achieve target dates. PORTIA is a mission-critical system for each of our client's operation and problems resulting from upgrades are often compounded by not finding them and planning for them in the testing process. Thomson can provide services and proven methodologies that will help a client avoid costly upgrade issues and failed conversions. These services include Test and Production conversions, workflow analysis, functional testing, benchmark testing, and post-production support. Thomson Professional Services has extensive experience and insight into the process and details of a major version upgrade. We can work with clients to help overcome the pitfalls associated with functional testing which often leaves them vulnerable to problems rolling out the new release.
